Established and having taken delivery of the first Escomatic
C.N.C. "New Mach" machine in the U. K. in
1997 and adding more versatile machines later, we have
built up a wealth of knowledge using these uniquely
special machines supplying various industries with small
turned parts.
Escomatic CNC machines have been chosen due to their
ability to manufacture parts with the following features
in mind:
- No 'part off' burr as a result of clamping the component
prior to part off.
- Tool head speeds up to 12000 RPM with 4 independent
cutting tools.
- Material is coil fed - no bar ends saving on waste
material and loading time
- Ability to machining profiled material due to non
rotating stock - tools revolve around material.
- designed 24 hour continuous running
- High performance of conventional cam driven lathes
with the flexibility of Fanuc CNC control.
Since its formation, Autoform has specialised in the
manufacturer of small turned parts from less than 1.0mm
up to a maximum of 6.35mm.
Simple to complex forms from free machining to difficult
material we achieve close tolerances. Employing the
latest Swiss CNC technology, we can produce complex
turned, drilled, milled and threaded components in a
single operation.
